Knowing she needs to come to terms with the loss of Damon Elena turns to Alaric to help her move on with her life. Enzo convinces Caroline to join him as he tracks down a lead to get Damon and Bonnie back, but Caroline is shocked when they make an unexpected detour and uncover what Stefan has been up to. Meanwhile, Matt worries about Jeremy who is spending time with Sarah, a mysterious girl who has recently arrived in Mystic Falls. Elsewhere, Tripp , leader of the community protection program, makes an interesting confession to Matt about his connection to the town. On January 9th Nina will be ringing in her 26th Birthday, and I thought why not do our best as Team Dobrevics to raise $2,600 in honor of her birthday. All donations will go to Free the Children to help Nina build a school.
I noticed her Campaign page on Free The Children hasn’t got many donations, and I am hoping if we reach this goal it will help her get closer to reaching her goal.
Spread the word about this campaign, it is set up to Go Fund Me, I have never used it but I know tons of people do and reach their goals. I have faith as a Team we can do this, Let’s make Nina Proud!

Dobrev says her initial response to the crossover was something to the effect of “Whoa, whoa, whoa! We’re adding another character?” but it didn’t take long for her to warm up to the idea.
“[Executive producer] Julie Plec pitched the story, which was actually cool and made a lot of sense, so that got me excited,” Dobrev admits. “As much as I joke and say that playing a lot of characters is crazy — which it is — it’s also fun to create new people. It helps keep things fresh after six years, you know?”
Although Morgan is quick to laugh off a “steamy” encounter between Klaus and Tatia, Dobrev hints that there might be some romantic action in store for fans. And after six years, she’s become something of an expert in that department.
“I’ve even kissed Steven [R. McQueen], unfortunately,” she says of her characters’ many encounters. “Well, it wasn’t a kiss, but I had to do mouth-to-mouth with Jeremy as Katherine. I remember reading that episode and being like, ‘Really?’” Read more at TV Line

At this point, Nina Dobrev has played three doppelgangers on The Vampire Diaries. There was Elena, Katherine (pictured above), and the one who spawned them all, Amara. But when news broke that Dobrev was headed to season 2 of The Originals as Tatia, fans instantly flashed back to season 3 of TVD, when we first heard mention of Tatia’s name.
Over dinner with Stefan and Damon, Klaus and Elijah reflected on the time they had both fallen in love with the same girl when they were humans: Tatia, the first doppelganger of Amara. In fact, it had been Tatia’s blood that Esther used to bind Klaus’ werewolf side and keep him from becoming a hybrid. But other than that, there isn’t much we know about the woman who captured both of the brothers’ hearts, and that’s exactly why she’s headed to The Originals. Continue Reading at EW
