Dessert First anyone? Looks like Nick Jonas did a Table Read for a dramatic play that he has written and our very own Nina was an attendance with many others including Darren Criss and of course Nick Jonas. Thanks so much to @myninaworld aka Cassie on Twitter for the heads up on the details.

On the weekend of the Emmys, and of his own 26th birthday, Nick Jonas threw a different kind of soiree — inviting about three dozen studio executives and film producers to a table read of the first dramatic play he’s written, “Dessert First,” at the Chateau Marmont, Variety has learned.

The cast for the table read consisted of Darren Criss, Nina Dobrev (“The Vampire Diaries”), Omar Miller (“Ballers”), Molly Shannon (“SNL”), Killian Donnelly (Broadway’s “Kinky Boots”), Damian O’Hare (the “Pirates of the Caribbean” sequels), Lola Kelly (“Stoneheart”), Kevin Covert and Rebecca Kitt.

Nina took to her instagram to thank two young ladies who flew from Paris to see her new show Fam and gave her a very special gift that meant a lot to her, you all truly touched Nina and when you do that you make the entire fandom really happy, so thank you for that. Not only did Nina thank them but she thanked everyone else for constantly supporting her. Watch the beautiful video below, We Love You Nina!
