After this week’s episode, “The Originals,” which serves as the backdoor pilot for “The Vampire Diaries” spinoff, there are only three episodes left in Season 4. Though there’s no episode description for the finale, titled “Graduation,” yet, showrunner Julie Plec teased to TVLine, “There’s going to be a lot of questions about, ‘Who am I? What am I going to do with my life? What am I meant to be? Where am I meant to go?’ … All of our characters will be faced with that question as they make decisions about whether to stay or go, go to college, travel the world, break up, stay together. A lot of big, important life decisions as we say goodbye to the high school chapter of the show.” Source

The Vampire Diaries’ Elena Gilbert has a new attitude and a new hairstyle to go along with it. In the upcoming episode “Because the Night,” Damon (Ian Somerhalder) takes Elena (Nina Dobrev) on an adventure to New York City in an effort to get her mind off of recent events (RIP, Jeremy!). Judging from our exclusive first look from the episode, it appears that Elena has gotten a new look on her trip by adding some red streaks and stylish new waves to her tresses.
