A Little Look Back at Season 2 as it comes to an end tonight. It has been another one hell of a Season just like Season 1 it gave us many Twist and Turns and left us in complete shock and in tears and so much more a lot of the times. The Performances given by the entire cast have been so amazing , and in all honesty the best Cast on TV that brings their A Game all the time. As I said last year when writing up my Season 1 Finale Post this is the BEST Show on TV and I stand by it a Year Later , it is STILL The Best Show on TV so if you are NOT Watching it yet you need to spend your summer catching up on Season 1 and 2! I can’t wait for the next Journey Season 3!
Now I need to say a few things about Nina because she worked so hard during Season 2 playing DOUBLE DUTY that it did take a lot out of her, but Nina we appreciate your hard work and everything you have put into Elena and Katherine to make it so believable that we sometimes honestly forget you’re actually playing Katherine as well. A Phenomenal and Extraordinary Actress Nina is she deserves an Emmy or something for her amazing work in Season 2, and I sure hope she gets something! Thank You Nina!

What about Elena?
Plec: Elena, who is unaware of Damon’s bite, is trying to move forward with her brother and her friends. There’s a speech early on where she says, “We’ve got to get up, we’ve got to get out of the house, we’ve got to breathe, eat, sleep, then do it all over again until it gets better.” That’s shifted when she learns the truth about Damon and sets out to help him as he goes through his spiral. A lot of their relationship and friendship issues are brought to light as he is on his deathbed and is still very much desperate for absolution.Sounds like “Delena” fans will enjoy the finale then.
Plec: The second half of the episode is very much driven by Damon and Elena — as he’s falling apart — and what she does to try to bring him peace. This is very much an episode of Damon and Elena, and all their relationship issues that they’ve struggled with for two years now coming to a head. Continue Reading
