Idols :
(1) Hero in the eyes of the young star is the Canadian actress Rachel McAdams , coming from a family of a driver and a nurse.
(2) Sarah Jessica Parker is also part of Nina’s idols ‘not only cuz of her talent , but her awesome style and her attitude’.
From the older stars her idol is Meryl Streep , her acting in ‘the hours’ is real inspiration about Nina :’I want to play all kinds of parts – doesn’t matter if they are good or bad characters , the make up and the wigs can do miracles.’What better proof about that than Nicole Kidman in ‘the hours’?

Love :
At the moment Nina is single , but because of the shooting for The Vampire Diaries and the fact Ian Somerhalder is her partner in the series , started rumors. All fans think Nina & Ian are not only the perfect screen couple but in the real life too. The 2 of them spend a lot time together ( a few weeks ago Ian took her to a showroom so she can buy a new car with his help so ‘they don’t lie to her’) but they are denying any relationship besides the friendship that make ’em close and helps ’em work even better in a team. But when we are talking about the dream man , Nina says that for her the most attractive actor right now is Sam Worthington and she is a crazy fan of AVATAR.

Style:
We Can’t deny that Nina has definitely great taste and style , deserving admiring, probably because of her career as a model. The young actress doesn’t use the help of a stylist , she counts only on her fashion sense. Last week when I had dinner my fork changed shape I had to wear it like a bracelet’ – smile nina. She loves wearing sports wear and comfortable clothes and she is maniac about shoes. She has many shoes – with high heels or not , doesn’t matter , the important thing is for them to be unique. Nina cares really much about her hair and her make up. Her hair is originally curly but she doesn’t like wearing it this way very much and as for the make up – she never leaves her house without her mascara. Her exercise are mostly yoga at least 2-3 times a week and when she has time she likes to run outside.

Career:
Since she was very young Nina shows interest to the arts – gymnastics (she even represented Canada in a few championships) , dances , theater and later cinema. Before that she worked as a model for a while – she shoots commercials and thanks to them her road to the fame got open. For a while she studied sociology but she is fascinated by the cinema arts , she started going to a acting school. In 2006 she got her first part in the movie AWAY FROM HER and since then she has been in like 10 different productions. She gets noticed in Degrassi but the big fame comes with the vampire diaries and its sure that wont stop. The actress said she’d love to do something related to fashion but for now she is very busy and she doesn’t have time to do that. Next year there will be 2 movies with her coming out – The Killing Game where her co- stars are Kellan Lutz and Samuel L. Jackson

Friends:
‘I spend a lot time on set of the vampire diaries and most of the time my day starts at 5 am.’ – after those words anyone can figure out who and what are her friends. All time spent on tvd set had made the cast really great friends :’ we all do pranks to each other -if we are shooting in dark mysterious house I hide and scare the boys.’ As of for the friendships outside tvd set if we look at her twitter profile (where nina tweets a lot) she has many friends with different careers. Including people from Bulgaria , where she comes to visit sometimes. Not surprised huh ? who wouldn’t want to be friends with her.
