FAM stars Nina Dobrev and Tone Bell in a comedy about a woman whose vision of a perfect life with her adoring fiancé and his wonderful parents is radically altered when her 16-year-old, out-of-control half-sister unexpectedly comes to live with her. As the family Clem (Dobrev) chose and the family she has blend, Clem realizes that this new happy fam may be the perfection she’s always been seeking. Odessa Adlon, Brian Stokes Mitchell and Sheryl Lee Ralph also star.

My Daughters Secret is a rarer Nina Dobrev film that is not often broadcasted from before the time of The Vampire Diaries. Filmed in 2007, My Daughters Secret stars Nina Dobrev (Justine) as the daughter of a single mother named Denise portrayed by Jennifer Grant (Becoming Cary Grant and Beverly Hills 90210) whose jewellery business is robbed. Steve Byers (Marlo’s brother in Flatliners, Heracles in Immortals and Underhill in Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments) also stars as Brent; written by Christine Conradt and directed by Douglas Jackson.
My Daughters Secret airs on Sony Movie Channel at 10.55am on Wednesday, November 21st 2018 in the UK. Check your local listings for Sony Movie Channel to see if the film is also being shown in your local region.
Adopt Don’t Shop
There is a new addition to Nina’s family for the moment and she encourages everyone to Adopt Don’t Shop as she posted photos on her Instagram Story yesterday of dogs displaced from the woosley fire. If you are in the Los Angeles area and have the room be sure to stop by a local shelter and check out the animals there, they need a home and could use your love.
If you are unable to take home an animal many shelters can use donations as there is still plenty of work to be done, the care for the animals is not even near over yet. Be sure to research before giving here is a list of some good organizations to give too.
