Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev looked totally gorgeous at our Young Hollywood Awards on May 13. The starlet received the Mark cosmetics Make Your Mark award that evening and wow, did her stunning makeup make quite the mark! “I decided to go for the 50s/60s doll look,” Nina told me. She collaborated with celebrity makeup artist Amy Nadine Rosenberg. “She’s amazing!” Nina says. “And, she works with Mark and I’m getting the Mark award so it’s pretty awesome.”
For the big night, “we were inspired with an Alice in Wonderland twist a la the Red Queen,” Amy says. “We wanted to rock a red lip as bold lips are a huge trend this spring (and we were a little inspired by her red Valentino pumps).” If you want to rock this look on your own, Amy’s biggest piece of advice, “keep the eyelids a soft color.
