Thanks to  Hollywoodnews.com Nina answered some Fan Questions below you can read a few and then head on over there to read the rest!

Q: They actually put dirt in your hair?

ND: Yeah, they do. They put dirt and they tease it. It’s weird because when vampires are desiccating and they don’t have blood, they start to look sickly and look like they’re dying. Usually as actors we want to look our best. You’re on national television! But when the character calls for it, you draw on undereye dark circles. It is cool. I personally love it. I love getting nitty and gritty and doing the opposite. I actually really love that.

Q: How do you like kissing the hottest guys on TV?

ND: Between the two characters on the show, I’ve literally kissed almost everyone in the cast.

Q: Wait, that doesn’t answer the question.

ND: I’m not going to kiss and tell. Everyone always asks me but I never answer.

Q: Who do you think Damon should end up with?

ND: Whoever he wants to be with.

Q: Have you thought about what you’d like to see Elena do after graduation?

ND: Survive.

Kristin Dos Santos just posted up an interview she did with Nina read some of it below and the rest over at E Online!

What could be better than Joshua Jackson’s or James Van Der Beek‘s Funny or Die videos? How about the new(er) kids on the Kevin Williamson block: Nina Dobrev and the cast of the CW’s Vampire Diaries?

I just spoke to Nina herself moments ago and she revealed that she and her TVD cast mates just shot  some Funny or Die footage, and she also weighed in on casting the show’s highly anticipated new “original” baddie Klaus…

“We’re actually working on a [Funny or Die video] right now,” Nina tells me. “When we were snowed in, in Georgia, we were twiddling our thumbs. We didn’t know what to do. So we got a camera and we shot a couple things. A bunch of us. Myself and other cast members. If it’s funny, you just might see it!”

Who votes for we get to see it either way?! Read More

Looking as Gorgeous as ever in this stunning outtake Nina is the Cover Girl for Flare Magazine for February 2011 Below is a preview of the interview read the rest over at Flare and check out the outtake in the gallery!

“I don’t see myself any differently than I did a few years ago,” says 22 year-old Nina Dobrev from the set of our Toronto cover shoot. “Aside from the fact that I’ve moved over nine times and I’m now a bloodsucker,” she adds with a laugh. “It’s been a step by step process and I’ve had the luxury of adjusting to every different phase.”

Dobrev’s journey to TV sensation and cover girl started two years ago, when her Degrassi: The Next Generation character boarded a plane headed for Paris to pursue a career as an international model. It ended up being a case of art imitating reality when in real life, after the episode wrapped, Dobrev packed her bags and left her hometown of Toronto to try her luck in Hollywood. The move paid off in spades. In less than a year, she landed the coveted parts of Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce in The Vampire Diaries.

In addition to starring in the hit vampire series, Dobrev is also set to play Twilight hottie Kellan Lutz’s pregnant wife in the upcoming thriller The Killing Game, opposite Samuel Jackson. Continue Reading

The moon is full and the wolves are howling in The Vampire Diaries‘ final new episode until January (airing tonight at 8/7c on The CW). No one in Mystic Falls — good or bad, human or supernatural — is safe. “Elena takes it all on herself,” says Nina Dobrev, who does double-duty as the selfless heroine ready to do whatever it takes to save her loved ones and as Katherine, the seductive, selfish vampire currently stashed in the town’s blood-sucker tomb. While Elena is in deep emotional pain, “everyone thinks she’s unstable,” says Dobrev. Continue Reading at TV GUIDE

The promo for Thursday’s midseason finale of The Vampire Diaries (The CW, 8 p.m. ET) shows the unthinkable happening: Stefan (Paul Wesley), now trapped in the tomb with Katherine (Nina Dobrev), giving in to her. If the teaser is any indication (watch it below), it could be the hottest captive sex scene since a certain cage encounter on Lost. “First, Jeremy getting trapped in the tomb was like, Katherine wins! When Stefan came in, she’s like, ‘Wow, I couldn’t have planned this better if I tried. The one person I want to be stuck with, here he is, and now he’s got nowhere to go. I will seduce him, I will tease him, I will anger him.’ The line between love and hate truly is very, very thin,” Dobrev says. “So she has a chance to egg him on, and he can’t do anything about it. He has no choice but to listen, and yeah, it is a very kind of sexy, manipulative scene, and he gives in. It’s pretty crazy.”

You could be forgiven for initially dismissing The Vampire Diaries as another melodramatic teen vampire drama. A beautiful teenage girl falls in love with a devastatingly handsome vampire – gee, where have we heard that before? Even star Nina Dobrev admits that her reaction was somewhat similar.

“I’ll be honest: when I first read the pilot synopsis, I remember thinking, ‘Oh, this is just Twilight on TV,’” the 21-year-old Canadian says during one of her few days off from filming in Atlanta. “Then I researched and realized it was much more than that. We began shooting and it kind of grew a life of its own. It’s such a huge departure from how it originally came across.”

The first few episodes of The Vampire Diaries followed the standard vampire formula: young Elena (Dobrev) meets and falls for Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley), unaware that he’s a centuries-old vampire – or that his brother, Damon (Ian Somerhalder), is similarly afflicted and has been attacking the town’s residents. But once Elena discovered the Salvatores’ true nature, The Vampire Diaries let loose, employing a breakneck pace of storytelling rarely seen on other shows (ahem, Lost). Continue Reading at Dose.ca
