Nina Dobrev Biography
Nina was born on January 9th, 1989 in Sofia , Bulgaria as Nikolina Konstantinova Dobreva.
When Nina was 2 years old her family moved to Canada and she has lived there most her life. Since Nina was very young she has shown much interest in arts like dance, gymnastics, theater, music, visual arts, and acting and was discovered by many talent agencies in Toronto when she attended Dean Armstrong Acting School.
Nina started off with Modeling which led her to commercials then later on to film auditions. She has been in such films as Fugitive Pieces, Never Cry Werewolf, Too Young to Marry , The American Mall and many others. Nina has also been in the hit Canadian show Degrassi and went on to star in The hit CW Show The Vampire Diaries for 6 years, in April of 2015 Nina took to her instagram to announce her departure.
Nina has been furthering her Film Career ever since she left The Vampire Diaries, she has been in such movies as xXx: The Return of Xander Cage (2017) , Flatliners (2017) , Crash Pad (2017) and currently has 5 upcoming Movies to be released this year and 2019.
Nina will be returning to TV in the 2018-2019 Season in the New CBS Comedy Fam scheduled to hit our Televisions Mid Season (2019)
In 2017 Nina Joined Reebok and Les Mills and since then she has been inspiring so many to get fit and lead a healthier lifestyle, working hard doesn’t stop Nina from being sure to maintain a healthy lifestyle so working out is definitely an important part of Nina’s day to day routine and she teaches us that by being a part of Les Mills.
Saving Sharks? Nina is a busy body in 2018 she became an Oceana Ambassador where she partnered up to help fight for healthy oceans and ban the sale and trade of shark fin products in the U.S.
She is also still participating in important campaigns like ME to WE which she has been part of Free The Children for a very long time, and It’s On Us Campaign so check those out.

In 2017 Nina lost her cat of 18 years Lynx, which was incredibly sad because her and Lynx were so very close and you could always tell how much her cat meant to her.
In April of 2017 Nina adopted a new Puppy after the lost of her precious Lynx, she got a new companion Maverick which she has taking so many places with just like she did with Lynx.
Nina is such an animal lover, she has shown how much she loves her furry family past and present. Lynx and Maverick captured Nina’s heart through and through we can truly tell.
